Our Vision

Fond du Lac Philharmonique (FdLPe) is a new-concept civic orchestra that incorporates professional quality, community involvement, and educational initiative in its founding principle.

Led by a small group of highly accomplished professional musicians, which functions independently as a professional chamber music ensemble, FdLPe’s mission is to engage the community by providing meaningful orchestra participation opportunities and connecting professional musicians with community enthusiasts and aspiring students.

We present two concert series: A Symphonic Series with full orchestra and a Chamber Music Series by smaller ensemble. The main focus is on the standard symphonic repertoire.

The ‘Professional-Community-Students’ organizational model emphasizes open participation for the community. In particular, we strive to be a supportive environment, a testing ground for new graduates or current music students who, in any given capacity, are embarking on their professional musical journey.
